![2-axis Sidewall Semi Trailer sent to Cote d'Ivoire 1]()
Last month, a logistics transportation company in Abidjan, Ivory Coast contacted us and ordered a
2-axle sidewall semi-trailer.
The customer said that he used to use only
flatbed semi trailers, which were prone to slipping off both sides during turning or braking when bagging and loading goods. He had to use a large number of straps and tarpaulins to fix them every time. If he used a forklift to load, he could only load from the rear, which was inefficient - because flatbed trucks do not have side walls, and if the forklift forks goods from the side without support, the goods are prone to tipping over.
After switching to a side wall semi-trailer, these problems are no longer present. Bulk building materials, bagged cement, cocoa beans and other goods are prone to slipping, and once the side wall is stopped, they will not roll everywhere; When loading and unloading, forklifts operate directly from the side without the need to climb onto the carriage, which is much more efficient than flatbed trucks. The platform is paved with 6mm patterned boards, which are wear-resistant and anti slip. When loading goods into bags, the bags are not easily moved during sudden braking.
This
2-axle side wall semi-trailer has a side wall height of 600mm and adopts a detachable fence structure - the fence is vertical when pulling bagged goods, serving as a barrier; If it is occasionally necessary to pull oversized goods or load and unload oversized goods from the side with a forklift, the fence can be removed and converted into a flatbed truck.
In addition, the customer also requested to install reinforced legs on this
2-axle side wall semi-trailer. The rear is equipped with waterproof LED combination taillights and reflectors, which have high brightness and long service life. All rubber parts are made of high temperature resistant materials, and the circuit connectors are treated with waterproof and dustproof to prevent dust and moisture from entering and causing short circuits.
The axles and suspension components of this
2-axle sidewall semi-trailer are from a widely used brand in the West African market, making it easier for customers to maintain and repair them in the future. He said that if business continues to grow in the second half of this year, he may order several more sidewall trucks of the same model specifically for long-distance routes.
