Welding Process
Automatic assembling for tank shell and heads. Welders hold certificates complying with GB, ASME and classification society standards. Double‑gun automatic welding, plasma automatic welding, automatic argon‑arc welding and robot welding for outer components are applied. High‑proportion automatic welding delivers stable welding quality, with non‑destructive testing pass rate up to 99%.
Non‑Destructive Inspection
Adopt DR digital radiographic inspection and DDA automatic detection equipment. It supports automatic defect identification and generates digital inspection reports.
Post‑Weld Heat Treatment
Stress‑relieving heat treatment is completed by high‑speed nozzle gas furnace. The temperature is accurately controlled within 550‑700℃ with tolerance of ±10℃ to improve overall mechanical performance of pressure vessel.
Pressure Test
Hydrostatic test: Clean water serves as test medium; water shall be fully drained and dried after test. Qualification standards: no leakage, no visible deformation and no abnormal noise during testing. ‑ Pneumatic tightness test: Performed after hydrostatic test is passed. Test medium: clean air, nitrogen or other inert gas, with gas temperature no lower than 15℃.
