Ugandan Client Visited FEICHI Factory and Purchased Rear Dump Semi Trailer

We recently had the privilege of hosting a distinguished client from Uganda, marking the establishment of a strategically significant new partnership between our two organisations. The client company operates an extensive fleet of semi-trailers and, in response to business expansion requirements, is renewing its fleet with new rear-dump semi-trailers for transporting mineral ores and construction materials. Having learned about our company online, the client made a special trip to conduct a two-day on-site inspection at our premises.

During the visit, our Sales Manager provided a comprehensive overview of our product range, with particular emphasis on the three-axle rear-dump semi-trailer. Addressing Uganda's demanding operational conditions – including prolonged rainy seasons and soft, muddy roads in certain mining areas – the Sales Manager detailed the unique advantages of this rear-dump semi-trailer in such specialised working environments.

Unlike side-discharge trailers, rear-dump semi-trailers require no simultaneous deployment of stabilising legs on both sides during unloading. This grants them greater manoeuvrability in relatively confined worksites or temporary stockyards. The centre of gravity remains consistently centralised throughout the lifting process. Coupled with our specially engineered robust steel frame and Euro-standard hydraulic lifting system, it delivers exceptional torsional stability and safety even when fully loaded with 50 tonnes of material.

For mainstream cargo prone to clumping and spillage, such as ore and river sand, the rear-dump design demonstrates significant efficiency advantages. A single, wide-angle dumping action rapidly and completely empties the body, eliminating residual material and markedly improving single-trip transport turnover efficiency.

The chassis employs a reinforced triple-axle suspension system with heavy-duty axles, while the main beams utilise high-strength specialised steel. This significantly enhances fatigue resistance while reducing overall weight, perfectly meeting customers' core requirements for high load-bearing capacity and reliability on rugged terrain.

The client showed great interest in our technical expertise. He carefully reviewed the technical specifications, observed the welding and painting processes in the workshop, and asked detailed questions about plate thickness, hydraulic cylinder brands, and the durability of the rear dump semi-trailer under tough African conditions. Our technical team was able to provide thorough, on-the-spot answers.

After two days of in-depth discussions and negotiation, the client finalised the purchase agreement. The contract not only confirmed a production schedule meeting his tight deadline but also included a tailored after-sales support package to ensure he could access timely technical guidance back in Uganda.
