Recently, a loyal customer from Algeria placed an order with us for a 6-axle gooseneck lowbed semi-trailer. These trailers are mainly used for transporting large construction machinery and overweight goods, such as excavators, bulldozers, transformers, etc.
This 6-axle gooseneck lowbed semi-trailer is made of high-strength steel for the frame, and the key load-bearing parts have been thickened and reinforced. The goose neck design allows the trailer to have a lower load-bearing surface and a lower center of gravity, making it more stable to run. With a 6-axis layout and multi axis dispersed load-bearing, the total load-bearing capacity can reach over 100 tons, making it suitable for transporting large cargo.
This 6-axle gooseneck lowbed semi-trailer has several obvious advantages compared to regular flatbed trucks. Firstly, the platform is lower, making it easier to pass through tall devices and avoid scratching obstacles above or on the side. Secondly, the wheels can be equipped with a steerable axis, which has a smaller turning radius and is convenient for turning around or turning in construction sites or mining areas. In terms of paint, we used epoxy zinc rich primer and polyurethane topcoat, with a dry film thickness of over 120 microns and enhanced salt spray and weather resistance.
We have scheduled a delivery time of 35 days because the air suspension and hydraulic ladder need to be specially installed and debugged. During the production process, videos of frame welding, paint spraying, and ladder climbing motion testing were taken and sent to the customer via WhatsApp. He said they looked even stronger than the photos.
