![Two Gooseneck Lowbed Semi Trailers sent to Venezuela 1]()
Last month, two
goose neck lowbed semi trailers completed production from the Feichi factory and were ready to be shipped to Venezuela. The buyer is engaged in heavy equipment leasing, mainly transporting excavators, bulldozers, and rollers to infrastructure construction sites. This year, with the expansion of the project, the issues of loading and unloading efficiency and safety must be resolved, so the customer ordered two gooseneck lowbeds at once and tried them out first.
The carrying platform length of these two
gooseneck lowbed semi trailer is 8 meters and the width is 2.9 meters. Because the customer's tracked equipment is generally wider, 2.9 meters is just enough to accommodate a medium-sized excavator, leaving some margin on both sides, so it will not rub against the wheel hub during loading. The surface of the platform is covered with thickened wear-resistant patterned steel plates, which the customer specifically requests to be thickened because the metal protrusions of the track shoes cause significant wear on the surface of the plate. If they become thin, they will need to be replaced within two years.
Two
goose neck lowtbed semi trailers, one with three axles and one with four axles, can adapt to the transportation needs of customers with different equipment. Three axles are more flexible compared to four axles, while four axles have better load-bearing capacity.
Painting and rust prevention are important links in the entire production process of the
goose neck lowbed semi-trailer. The climate in Venezuela is quite complex, so we used epoxy zinc rich primer for deep rust prevention treatment, and also applied two coats of polyurethane topcoat. All bolt interfaces, pipeline joints, and wire harness buckles on the inside of the semi-trailer frame have also been galvanized or coated with rust prevention.
These two
goose neck lowbed semi trailers have undergone comprehensive debugging before leaving the factory and have been sent to Qingdao Port for shipment. The customer has expressed that if the project continues to expand next year, they may order another five axle semi-trailer specifically designed for pulling larger tonnage equipment.
