4-axis Flatbed Semi Trailer sent to Zimbabwe

Last mid month, a client from Zimbabwe contacted us. He has been hauling lithium ore, chromium iron, tobacco, and corn all year round, and this time he is looking for a 4-axle flatbed semi-trailer with more axles, more stability, and the ability to withstand the complex road conditions of the Zimbabwean plateau.
This 4-axis flatbed semi-trailer uses a high-strength steel welded frame, with both the main beam and crossbeam reinforced and thickened. The biggest advantage of tablet design is that it does not require picking goods - lithium concentrate in bags from mines, chrome iron packing blocks, manganese ore barrels, tobacco packs in bundles during the tobacco season, steel pipes in bundles on construction sites, and can be lifted by forklifts or cranes without having to flip over the boards one by one like a pallet truck. The customer also mentioned that sometimes he needs to pull agricultural machinery parts and steel structural components. Once the flat plate is placed up and the straps are tightened, he can leave, which is the most convenient. There are a total of eight tires on the 4-axis, with nearly one-third more ground contact area and better load distribution. When driving on muddy roads during the rainy season, the grip is slightly better than on the 3-axis.
Rust prevention treatment is the key to this 4-axle flatbed semi-trailer. During the dry season, the frame runs in mining areas, and high temperatures, sandstorms, and gravel ejections cause significant wear on the paint surface. During the rainy season, it also faces the test of humid and hot air and muddy roads. In addition, the temperature difference between morning and evening in the highland areas of Zimbabwe is relatively large, and the combination of dry wet alternation and temperature difference poses a long-term challenge to the adhesion of the coating. This 4-axis flatbed semi-trailer has been sprayed with two coats of epoxy zinc rich primer and two coats of polyurethane topcoat. After this treatment, the paint surface can withstand the high temperature, sun exposure, and sandstorm erosion during the dry season, and will not easily bubble or peel off when wet during the rainy season. The cathodic protection effect of epoxy zinc rich primer can also delay the corrosion expansion of steel plates during long-term exposure.
This 4-axle flatbed semi-trailer was loaded and shipped at Qingdao Port in early May. The customer said that after the new car is run in, he plans to order two more and replace all the aging flatbed semi-trailers in the current fleet.
