![5-axis Flatbed Semi Trailer sent to Kenya 1]()
Last month, a logistics company in Kenya contacted us and ordered a batch of
5-axle flatbed semi trailers. The customer's main business is to transport bulk cargo such as steel, cement, fertilizer, and bagged grain from ports to the mainland. With the increase in business volume, the previous 3-axle and 2-axle semi trailers are no longer sufficient, so this time they have ordered this batch of 5-axle
flatbed semi trailers from us.
The platform length of this batch of
5-axis flatbed semi trailers has been customized into two specifications according to customer needs. The slightly shorter platform is mainly used to pull bulk cargo such as cement and fertilizers in bags, while the other is used to pull bar shaped goods such as rebar. The platform has been laid with thickened patterned plates, the longitudinal beams are welded with high-strength steel, and the main beams have been raised and thickened. Horizontal braces are also added between the longitudinal beams to prevent platform deformation during heavy loads. The designed load-bearing capacity is 80 tons, which is sufficient for customers' daily business operations.
A
5-axle flatbed semi-trailer has a large number of axles, with each axle bearing less impact force. The frame and suspension have a longer lifespan, and transportation is more stable. The goods are not easily displaced. During the rainy season, many branches to remote warehouses are very slippery. 5-axle trucks have many tires, a large grounding area, and low pressure, making them less likely to slip and sink on muddy roads. In addition, the patterned plate surface has anti slip protrusions, making it less likely for workers to slip when loading goods on rainy days.
Rust prevention is a particularly important aspect of this batch of
5-axis flatbed semi trailers. After the frame is welded and formed, it undergoes a complete polishing and rust removal process to thoroughly clean the welding slag, oxide scale, and floating rust. Then, it is sprayed with two coats of primer and two coats of topcoat. All bolt joints, pipeline joints, and wire harness buckles on the frame are also galvanized or coated with rust prevention.
Now this batch of flatbed semi trailers has been loaded onto the ship at the port and is ready for shipment. It is expected to arrive in Kenya in about 40 days.
