3-axle Flatbed Semi Trailer sent to Sri Lanka

Last mid month, a customer from Colombo, Sri Lanka contacted us through Alibaba. He told me that in recent years, the throughput of the ports in his city has been increasing year by year. He has been using several old-fashioned flatbed trucks for almost ten years, and the beams have been welded several times, some of which are cracked. He has long heard that Chinese flatbed semi trailers have good cost-effectiveness, and this time he wants to switch to a sturdy and durable 3-axle flatbed semi trailer that can be used for a long time in the complex road conditions of Sri Lanka.
This 3-axle flatbed semi-trailer uses a high-strength steel welded frame, with both the main beam and crossbeam reinforced and locally thickened. The biggest advantage of tablet design is that it does not require cargo picking -20 foot and 40 foot containers in ports can be directly loaded onto them by cranes, without the need to open guardrails or worry about excessive height. The 3-axis layout, combined with thickened leaf spring suspension and 12R22.5 steel wire tires, has a rated load of about 40 tons and runs steadily, suitable for the alternating terrain of coastal plains and central mountainous areas in Sri Lanka.
The high temperature and humidity environment in Sri Lanka, coupled with coastal salt spray corrosion, places considerable demands on the anti-corrosion of vehicle paint. Ordinary paint starts to peel and rust in this environment after less than two years, and the rust on the inside of the frame will spread from the inside out. In the end, the main beam looks fine, but it has already rotted completely inside. So for this 3-axis flatbed semi-trailer, we used a two-component epoxy zinc rich primer for deep rust prevention treatment, and then covered it with two layers of polyurethane topcoat on the outside. The inner side of the frame and the opening of the crossbeam were also additionally treated with cavity wax spraying for rust prevention to prevent the joint from rusting from the inside out.
The price and payment were negotiated smoothly overall. The customer is quite satisfied with the workmanship and delivery time of our 3-axle flatbed trailer. They said they will try to shorten the route first after the trailer arrives. If it works well, they will order a new batch of models with side guardrails and large-sized spare tire racks at the end of the year.
