6 Units Flatbed Semi‑Trailers Shipped To Kenya

Right now, six flatbed semi‑trailers are on their sea voyage toward Kenya. This order was placed by one of our repeat customers from East Africa. He had been looking for tough trailers that could hold up under everyday local working conditions, not just units built for good‑quality highways only.

We did not simply send off our regular stock. Our workshop made small but meaningful changes for this set. With three axles underneath, each trailer can take maximum payloads reaching 50 tons. Local users mainly move steel beams, building supplies, plus 20ft and 40ft shipping containers. We tweaked the overall outer dimensions so the trailers would not run into trouble with Kenya’s road limits. Many country roads there are uneven and bumpy. That is why we chose heavy‑duty high‑strength steel for the main frame, to fight against constant shaking and abrasion during long runs.

Our workshop QC staff went over every trailer one by one before loading onto the vessel. They walked around each chassis, tested brakes and checked every critical connection point manually. Paperwork was handled early too. We sorted out all export certificates so the customer would not get stuck at the port when the cargo arrives.

For our business, this shipment means we keep moving deeper into the East‑African heavy‑transport market. We know African buyers care most about real‑world durability instead of fancy appearances.
